What is this? How do I clean it???

Help!! Im renting an older house with 3 of my roommates. I was put into this super cute room but I cannot for the life of me figure out what is all over the walls?? I assumed it was dog slobber/saliva because it’s everywhere, brown, thick, and plastered on the walls, doors, handrails - you name it. The pics included are just a fraction of it… It tears apart my magic erasers (the wall texture doesn’t help), the Clorox wipes and abrasive sides of sponges take the paint off but don’t remove the grime. I don’t believe it’s the resin stuff that leaks from acrylic paint either, usually I can remove that fairly easily. I have no idea what else to use to clean it up and Im hesitant to move my stuff in until it’s identified. Any suggestions would be SUPER helpful 😭 Thank you!!!

I am on disability. I need a job in case they get rid of Social Security and Medicaid. I have no degree, little work experience, and huge gaps in time between work due to chronic illness. What should my job hunt look like?

I'm 40f. I live in SE VA. I have have chronic health issues since I was a child but it all exploded into life-ruining disease when I was 15. My first job was a clerk after school at a famous candy store when I was freshly 17, I lasted about 3 months due to my health. I was was pretty devastated. That pattern has been typical. I was a barista part time for a year and an in home caregiver part time for about 4 in college. I dropped out of college 8 years after starting it. I was a senior studio art/art ed double major, but I couldn't take anymore starting a semester, having to drop half (or all my classes), having anxiety attacks daily, being physical sick at school. I never will go back, I am traumatized by school at this point. After college I did some photoblogging with my pet rabbit (before influencers were a thing!), volunteer social media work (that I have no portfolio to show for it and given that was 10 years ago, I am not versed in current social media like TikTok), and various art and projects. My longest and last job was a year and a half of copy editing and writing for a Ukrainian marketing startup my internet friend works for. She got me the job after a piece I wrote got published and they were looking for entry level copywriters, so I sent in a sample and I got the job. It's NEVER that easy, I realize this! I loved working for them, it was a positive experience, but I couldn't keep up with the deadlines and be a sick person too. It was very stressful and I ended up quitting, yet again. I was really upset about that one. It's been 5 years since that. What do I do?????????????? What do I do? (A little calmer.) I don't know what to do with a sparse work history, no degree, and my first priority is always going to have to be my health. I go to a lot of doctor appointments, PT 3-4 times a week, therapy, and it's it's exhausting! Add trying to have a life, like seeing a friend or taking my dog out once a week, and that's like max energy spent. I spend most of the rest of my time in bed, the fatigue is real, and that includes mental and emotional fatigue. A wfh job would be ideal, or really the only possibility for me. I am trying so hard to be proactive as they come for disabled people like me. I won't even get into being queer, Latina, atheist, and outspoken anti Trump. What do I do?

Week 6

I’m now on week 6. SW 150 CW 146 GW 120-125. I am not happy with the progress so far. I feel like it’s very slow and I’m still having cravings. I started with 10 units first 4 weeks and now am on 20 units until week 9. I made an appointment to check in with Ivim as I feel like my progress is slow. I eat less but still have food noise and always want something sweet. Any advice? Thanks!

New armour update

Only five days after flip and my plants are insanely bushy.

First timer. I lollipopped these plants quite aggressively a day or two before flipping, I was actually worried I went overboard. I don't know how they'll look by week three which seems to be when I should defoliate and lollipop. The cultivar is Blue Dream by Nirvana. They turned up very short and stubby plants (might be my doing), I LST'd them in veg but the branches are still way too short and internodal spacing is way to small to scrog, and the newly developed fan leaves are shading some of the potential bud sites. The plants are fairly round and I can't figure out a way to create a perfectly flat canopy. What should I do? Wait until week three, lollipop now (which sounds like a bad idea) or wait week three but remove fan leaves are blocking light. This was like three days after flip! https://i.imgur.com/4KErLIS.jpeg This is now (five-five and a half days): https://i.imgur.com/farF3jH.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/HNC9V3g.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/xWW8z3h.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/rkbrCpE.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/LuVlInq.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/alKQzJf.jpeg

News coverage in KCMO

Can we please cover news? All I'm hearing is coverage of the Snow storm that might leave 2 in of snow. Last time I checked, there were protests going on in every Capital across the United States on this President's Day. Why is there no coverage of this? Why is there no coverage of freezing conditions and where to put the homeless? It's like a 30 minute episode of The weather channel.

Schooling with the corydoras!

I was of course worried about the risk of putting a betta with these little guys (8 total) but I’m cautiously optimistic given how things are going on day 3! Any warning signs I should look out for overtime?

Generic Concerta (Actavis) crash?

I’m new to stimulants, only recently diagnosed with ADHD. This is my 3rd day on generic Concerta 27mg. First day I felt it wear off around the 4 hour mark but I basically just returned to ordinary me. Today around the 4 hour mark I just started feeling tired. Mentally I feel like I could do stuff, but that feeling like taking a nap would be great. I don’t feel extremely tired or exhausted, just like I had a long day of work and earned a nap. I feel slightly anxious, but not intolerable. More like a restless easily annoyed feeling. Is this a crash?

some clarification on the giveaway

Looking for the Best End of Tenancy Cleaning Crew in London – Any Recommendations?

Hey everyone, After 8 years in our current place, we’re moving out! We have received section 21 from our Landlord (he sold the flat). We’ve always treated it like our own home and kept it in great condition, but naturally, there are some signs of wear and tear over time. To make sure it’s in top shape for the next tenants (and to get our full deposit back), we’re looking for a reliable and thorough end of tenancy cleaning service. If you’ve used a cleaning team that did an amazing job, we’d love to hear your recommendations! Also, for those who have moved recently—any lifehacks for cleaning and packing? Tips for tackling tough stains, organizing the chaos, or making sure the landlord has no complaints? Thanks in advance for any advice!

will glacier be in the new packs?

was going to buy my first glacier but not sure if they are going to be in the new packs

I've been a homeowner for 4 years. These are the biggest things I wish somebody told me on day one.

**1.  Your home equity is a gold-mine. If you need cash, stop taking out high-interest loans.** So many people take out high-interest payday loans – please don’t do this. If you get into trouble you can typically get a relatively low-interest HELOC (a home equity line of credit). Essentially with a HELOC, you’re borrowing against the equity you have in your house and use it for whatever you need (much like a credit card). Typically, you’ll get lower interest rates and more flexible repayment terms compared to traditional loans. Here’s a calculator you can use to see how much/little you could borrow ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=lt-home&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st)). Side note: if you hate debt, you can still get money out of your home’s equity by using something like [Hometap](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=hometap&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st), where you more or less sell investors a portion of your equity without a loan) **2. Switch auto insurance companies every 6-12 months.** If you haven’t compared auto insurance rates in the last 6 months, you’re probably overspending (on average by \~$400/year[¹](https://betterbuck.net/content/heres-how-much-youre-actually-overpaying-for-car-insurance/?subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1028-New-HELOC1st-Source)).  Example: I cut my car insurance bill by \~$1,300 this year by switching carriers (same exact coverage too) and it took me a whopping 5 minutes. Take two minutes and pull up a comparison site (I used [Coverage.com](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=bankrate&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st), [Auto-Savings.com](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=otto&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st) is fine too) and compare multiple offers from different companies in one go. Worst case scenario: you stay with what you’ve got. Best case scenario: you save a few hundred dollars a year. Here’s a link to a good comparison site:[ link](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=bankrate&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st). **3. Try and find the best price online.** Big stores like Amazon know that no one has time to price shop through dozens of sites, so there’s often no incentive for them to offer bargain prices. I typically hate browser extensions with a fiery passion, but Capital One Shopping has always worked well for me and I'd recommend trying it ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=capitalone2&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st)). When you shop online (on Amazon or elsewhere) it will automatically compare prices for you, and auto-apply coupon codes when possible. **4. Get yourself a dang advisor.** Most people are under the false impression that financial advisors are just for wealthy people. They absolutely aren’t: if you have a net worth of $100k+, you can typically qualify for an advisor. Having an advisor typically increases your yearly returns by 3%[¹](https://corporate.vanguard.com/content/dam/corp/articles/pdf/putting_value_on_your_value_quantifying_vanguard_advisors_alpha.pdf) (mostly due to smarter tax planning) If you don’t have an advisor in your family, use a site like [WiserAdvisor](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=wiser&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st) or [Zoe Financial](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=zoe&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st) to find somebody with good reviews in your area. **5. You don't have to pay off your debt by yourself.** Very few people know about it, but If you have $10k+ in debt, you can technically ask a debt relief to come in and take over the process for you.  It’ll typically save you 23% off your total debt, after fees (according to NDR, a big debt relief company).  They’ll negotiate with your creditors and try to get your debt reduced (then they take a cut of the savings). Typically people who are struggling with debt save 23% on avg. when they ask for help from debt relief companies. Here’s a little calculator you can use to see how much you’d potentially save: [link](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=ndr2&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st)). **6. Save on home insurance.** Some homeowners save $1k+/year just by switching home insurance providers (typically saving them more than changing auto insurance policies). If it’s been over a year since you’ve reviewed your rates, it might be worth taking a few minutes to compare offers. Here’s a home insurance comparison site I’ve used: ([link](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=bankrate-home&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st)).
